Whether you're a returning student, or new to violin, we'd love to have you for the 2025-2026 school year! In all of our lessons, we focus on healthy violin posture, note-reading, and fostering a love through music through exercises, performance repertoire, and music games. All students have multiple performance opportunities, including a winter and spring recital, and VCFMC's annual Ensemble Festival.

Beginning Groups: For students with little to no violin experience. We start with the basics, and cover open strings, violin posture, bow hold, and placing fingers 1-3. Each group is capped at 5 students, and curriculum is designed to spiral over 1-2 years. Ages 5-10. 

Tuesdays 5:00-5:30

Thursdays 3:00-3:30

Intermediate Groups: For students who can: read and play open string notes, play and place fingers 1-3, and older beginners. Requires audition or teacher approval. Groups are capped at 5 students, and curriculum adjusted accordingly. Ages 8+ (exceptions subject to teacher approval). 

Tuesdays 6:30-7:00

Thursdays 3:30-4:00 

Private Lessons: For students who are looking for more serious or more customized instruction. All ages, waitlist only (contact tatsustrings@gmail.com for more information)
